Bupa Health Centre- Edinburgh
£32,000 + Fantastic Benefits
40 hours per week.
Monday – Saturday
Shifts consist of 7- 3:30, 8-4:30 and 11-8 (allocated on a rotas basis)

As an admin team leader, you will manage a team of 3 multi-skilled administrators within a Bupa Health Clinics centre and deliver all ‘Administrator’ duties as and when required.
- To supervise and coordinate all administration requirements ensuring the smooth running of the administration teams and onward requirements of the customer.
- To ensure all administration supports the centre requirements in providing an outstanding experience for our customers (adults and children).
- Proactively manage issues which arise in administration matters, be that to do with the customer experience or your team.
- Ensure all administrative staff are aware of customer service standards via induction, Customer Experience training, team meetings, and appropriate system training.
- Support ongoing development of customer service skills amongst the administration team by completing timely Customer Experience appraisals and ongoing coaching.
- Act as the Centre Complaints Handler, being the first point of contact for any customer complaints and logging and responding to these in an appropriate and timely manner with the help of the Centre Manager, Health Services Manager and/or clinical colleagues.
- Manage the customer journey (prior to, during and after the appointment), responding immediately to requests accordingly to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role
Educated to ‘A’ Level standard.
- PC literate, excellent knowledge of MS office packages.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Customer service experience and highly customer focussed
- Ability to prioritise workload and ability to separate the urgent from the important.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in data interpretation with an ability to draw out clear improvement actions (desirable)
- Administrative experience in a healthcare environment (desirable)
- Some previous leadership experience and people management skills (desirable)
