DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administrative Tasks: Their duties often include data entry, filing, sorting mail, and maintaining office supplies. They ensure that the office is organized and presentable.
  • Provide assistance to operation, laboratory and Saybolt Global in respect to admin requirements.  
  • Handling Inquiries: They address questions from visitors and callers, providing information about the organization's services and assisting with directions within the premises.
  • Greeting Visitors: Manage the reception area and welcome clients, visitors and suppliers. They create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests and providing a positive first impression of the organization.
  • Managing Phone Calls: Handle incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals, and answering general inquiries about the organization.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Receptionists manage appointment calendars, ensuring that scheduling conflicts are minimized and sending reminders when necessary.
  • General Task: To support the operations and laboratory department and assist with reasonable request management to execute business requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Grade 12
  • Minimum of 1 year in related area.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Skilled in setting and managing priorities to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
