As a leading player in the EV market, VinFast is dedicated to delivering high-quality, cutting-edge electric vehicles that redefine the driving experience. Our team consists of passionate professionals driven by a shared vision of creating a greener and more sustainable future through innovation, technology, and excellence.

VinFast (VF) is developing in-house autonomous driving systems, ranging from L2 and L2+ to L4 robotaxi solutions. We are seeking talented and experienced professionals to develop autonomous driving architectures from platform to vehicle level, lead end-to-end system integration, and validate system functionality and performance under real-world driving conditions. The role covers system architecture, vehicle platform integration, verification and validation, issue resolution, and delivery of safe, robust, and production-ready autonomous driving solutions.

Role Purpose: Integrate the complete ADAS system and make it work reproducibly on the target vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define integration strategy, sequence, dependencies, readiness criteria and controlled system integration baselines.
  • Plan and execute vehicle bring-up and integrate ADAS with sensors, actuators and relevant vehicle domains.
  • Verify vehicle communication backbone interfaces (e.g., CAN/CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet), system states, timing, data/control flow and vehicle configurations.
  • Reproduce cross-domain issues, analyze communication traces/logs, isolate the responsible system and drive issue resolution.
  • Prepare stable vehicle/system baselines for V&V and maintain integration readiness, risks and known limitations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate daily integration readiness across Feature, Architecture, Platform, Software and Hardware teams.
  • Work with E/E, Chassis, Powertrain, Body/Gateway, HMI, Diagnostics, Connectivity and Sensor teams during vehicle bring-up.
  • Work with V&V to provide stable baselines, technical preconditions, issue reproduction and fix verification.
  • Coordinate releases/configurations with Release & CM and integration activities with suppliers.
  • Lead cross-team troubleshooting, establish evidence-based issue ownership and escalate blocking dependencies.

Requirements
  • Strong hands-on automotive system and vehicle integration experience.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture, vehicle signals, interfaces, sensors and actuator systems.
  • Experience in system/software release planning, integration baseline management, release dependency management, and release readiness coordination.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of vehicle communication backbone technologies (e.g., CAN/CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet) and experience with communication analysis tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, Wireshark or equivalents.
  • Familiarity with ADAS sensors, Brake, EPS, Powertrain/VCU, Gateway/BCM, HMI, and Diagnostics.
  • Strong vehicle bring-up, trace/log analysis, troubleshooting and cross-domain root-cause-analysis capability.
  • Typically 5+ years automotive integration experience, including significant ADAS/automated-driving exposure.
Tools & Engineering Environment
Hands-on experience is required on:
  • Vehicle Communication & Diagnostics tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, or equivalent);
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating L2+/L2++ or higher-level ADAS/automated-driving systems on production-intent vehicles.
  • Experience with SIL, HIL, test bench and vehicle-level integration environments.
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics (e.g., UDS/DoIP), time synchronization and advanced vehicle network analysis.
  • Experience with ADAS sensor installation, synchronization, calibration integration and actuator interface validation.
  • Experience coordinating OEM/Tier-1/supplier integration, cross-team troubleshooting and issue closure.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/integration workflows for continuous system integration and release management.
Key Expected Outputs
  • System/Vehicle Integration Strategy, dependency plan and readiness checklist.
  • System Integration Baseline and Vehicle Configuration/Variant Baseline.
  • Vehicle Interface Matrix, communication verification records and Vehicle Bring-up Procedure/Report.
  • Integration issue list, system/vehicle root-cause analysis and issue closure evidence.
  • Known Issues/Limitations and V&V Readiness Package.
