Advanced Technology Quality EngineerHuntsman is seeking an Advanced Technology Quality Engineer supporting the Performance Products Division, located in Conroe, Texas. This position will report to the Technical Manager.
Job ScopeThe Advanced Technology Quality Engineer is responsible for leading and managing quality operations for the E-GRADE® product line at the Conroe site, while supporting other regions as needed. This role ensures compliance with stringent semiconductor industry standards and customer requirements, acts as the primary quality liaison for the product line and drives continuous improvement and global quality alignment.
In summary, as the Advanced Technology Quality Engineer, you will:Oversee quality systems and processes, ensuring alignment with global SEMI and ISO 9001 standards.
Serve as the primary quality assurance contact for semiconductor customers in the West region, including audit coordination and issue resolution.
Implement, maintain, and improve quality procedures specific to advanced technology and semiconductor requirements.
Review and approve Certificates of Analysis (CoA) waivers for product deviations at the Conroe manufacturing site.
Lead initiatives to close quality and capability gaps through statistical analysis, reliability improvements, and quality culture enhancement.
Ensure accurate documentation and resolution of quality incidents using 8D methodology and own the Process Change Notification (PCN) process for Advanced Technology projects.
Collaborate closely with production teams, global quality councils, and other Huntsman E-GRADE® sites to standardize best practices and share learnings.
Organize and facilitate customer audits and site visits, while maintaining KPIs to track and improve quality performance.
Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to ensure a holistic approach to quality across the organization.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor of Science in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
5–10+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering roles, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Alternatively, 5 years of experience in the semiconductor or high-purity chemical industry may be considered in lieu of some formal education requirements.
Strong knowledge of semiconductor quality standards and statistical process control.
Proven experience conducting customer audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actions using 8D methodology.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to translate quality standards into practical manufacturing and business processes.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Hands-on experience with quality tools such as FMEA, RCCA, DoE, SPC/SQC, APQP, and PPAP, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
Prior experience supporting high-purity chemical or advanced technology product lines.
