Department Summary
Our DISH Media Ad Sales team, headquartered in New York City with additional offices in Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles, empowers brands to reach their target audiences seamlessly across the DISH and Sling platforms. Specializing in data-driven addressable and programmatic advertising solutions, this innovative and passionate team excels in navigating the dynamic TV advertising landscape.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of core systems, workflows, flaws and workarounds, expected and unexpected behavior. Identify, investigate and correct issues related to campaign execution and performance; escalate and collaborate with other internal parties and vendors
  • Execute advanced reporting and data analysis across multiple platforms, utilizing a deep understanding of data sets to provide strategic recommendations
  • Support cross-functional initiatives by testing, documenting technical requirements, and providing data teams with specifications for new fields and tracking values
  • Build and maintain functional dashboards and monitoring tools to assist the team with pacing, QA, diagnostics, and ad-hoc reporting
  • Document technical procedures for new workflows and project launches, ensuring all process changes are clearly communicated and accessible to the team
  • Cultivate relationships internally and externally with Sales, Vendors, Ad Tech, Engineers, P&I, Data, Marketing, etc
  • Assist team with day to day responsibilities during high-volume periods, including order entry, targeting, QA, encoding, pacing, etc

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in a related field in ad ops (advertising operations), tech ops, publisher campaign management, TV company ad sales, agency or ad tech company

Skills and Qualifications:
  • SQL experience a plus
  • Industry experience and familiarity with software and applications such as Decentrix, Freewheel, Tableau, Kibana, or other media platforms a plus
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills required
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized with an ability to multi-task and execute under aggressive timelines

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $31.07/Hour - $44.51/Hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
