Job Description

We are looking for an experienced leader to enable our advertising business, focusing on operations and sales support that drive our clients’ growth in Poland and CE. Allegro offers advertising solutions for merchants and brands. We offer our solutions via internal sales to merchants, direct sales to top brands/key accounts, and sales to partner agencies and media houses. The vast majority of business comes from merchants and direct sales to top clients. The business is growing x2-3 ahead of the market and we plan to sustain that growth and keep the top 3 position in online/digital advertising in Poland and CE. 

In this position, you will advise internal and external clients on strategies that draw from campaign performance and domain knowledge about advertising inside and outside of Allegro. Brands expect tailor-made products and know-how input when offered advertising solutions, meaningful work invested into optimization and development projects coordination is what the team and yourself will focus on.

Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing the respective ad operations team agenda including
  • Planning own and team’s tasks and coordinating them with tasks of other team members as well as department's priorities.
  • Support the development of managed-service advertising products according to development projects’ plan within capacity given daily workload
  • Developing and implementing short-, medium- and long-term plans supporting the implementation of the department's and company's strategies
  • Fostering cooperation between the Ad Operations team and other business and technical stakeholders in the department and the company (e.g. sales, product, finance, technology, marketing, homepage, analytical teams)
  • Aiding in negotiation process of contracts with tech partners and vendors for tools like: GAM, DMP, DV360, GA, DCM, Video Mill
  • Leading and developing a team of smart, ambitious ad tech specialists

  • Are strong analytically, comfortable with combining relevant internal and external data that support the recommendation 
  • Have the ability to cooperate with internal and external partners
  • Have effective communication skills both oral and written
  • Are self-driven and taking ownership
  • Are able to apply situational leadership and develop talented reports 
  • Have experience in leading a 3+ operational team from either media, agency, or technical departments
  • Have experience in performance marketing, programmatic, data analytics, e-commerce/ retail, social media, media planning, which is a major plus
  • Have a IAB DIMAQ certificate and proven English language skill at least at B2
