We are looking for an Ad Operations Intern to join our team. This role is designed for someone who wants to master User Acquisition by launching campaigns, developing a strategic mindset, and managing creative flows in a high-performance, real-time environment.

The candidate should have a mix of business-oriented and analytical mindset, to understand the short and long term challenges the mobile advertising campaigns are facing and use the tons of data available to get powerful insights to resolve them and create the most effective strategies and algorithms to help improve the Smadex platform
                                         This is a full-time internship based in Barcelona
Your tasks and responsibilities:
  • Use the Smadex DSP to build, launch, and operate user acquisition campaigns, ensuring they are executed with the best industry practices. 
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of campaign strategies, focusing on performance-driven metrics such as CPA, CR (Conversion Rate), CTR, and CPM.
  • Sync within the internal teams to ensure successful campaign launches, aligning technical setups with client objectives.
  • A/B test different creative strategies and landing pages to identify winning assets and scale results in real-time.
  • Take ownership of obtaining relevant insights to provide feedback before campaign launches, ensuring we are set up for success and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor campaign delivery and performance daily, learning to make strategic adjustments that drive immediate growth.
What are we looking for:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to use data to launch and perfect campaigns, ensuring potential success and scalability.
  • Performance Knowledge: A strong interest in digital advertising, specifically regarding CPA models, subscriptions, and user behavior is a BIG plus.
  • Action-Oriented: You are proactive and enjoy the "doing"—from the initial launch to the strategic follow-up.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision is vital; you take pride in ensuring every campaign setting is perfect before going live.
  • Soft Skills: Feedback hungry, critical thinking, and high resolution. You thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent command of Microsoft Excel is required. Knowledge of SQL, Datasets (or similar data tools) is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent English (written and spoken) is mandatory to work with our international team of 40+ nationalities.
