As part of the MMC3 programme, one of the most significant model change initiatives within Standard Life, this role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of a major regulatory and business transformation. You will play a key role in analysing and validating model changes, investigating complex actuarial issues and helping to deliver enhancements to the Internal Model. Working across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups, you will use your actuarial expertise to support decision-making, influence outcomes and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality project results.

  • Qualified Actuary with experience in actuarial modelling, reporting or capital management within a life insurance environment.
  • Strong understanding of Solvency II/Internal Model methodology and the key drivers of balance sheet and capital results.
  • Demonstrable experience analysing model outputs, investigating issues and solving complex actuarial problems.
  • Experience supporting actuarial change projects, including test review, impact assessment and validation of model changes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams, communicating technical findings clearly and influencing stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.

We want to hire the whole version of you.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If your experience looks different from what we’ve advertised and you believe that you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you.

If you require any adjustments to the recruitment process, please let us know so we can help you to be at your best.

We’re reviewing applications as they come in, so apply early to avoid missing out.
