We’re expanding our Aviva Services Excellence Centre (ASEC) - an international, highly collaborative team delivering actuarial systems used by Aviva business units worldwide.

About the role

This role is designed for experienced actuarial/data professionals who want to deepen their technical expertise. You’ll have the opportunity to shape solutions, influence design decisions, further develop modelling and data related knowledge and skills.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain analytical and actuarial tools and models

  • Design and implement high-quality, scalable solutions in line with internal best practices

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end development of actuarial models and model input processes

  • Translate business needs into robust technical solutions and document design decisions

  • Act as a senior point of contact within the team, supporting knowledge sharing and collaboration

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, processes, and standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data and model requirements and deliver robust solutions

  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and security across all stages of the data lifecycle

  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions

  • Automate data workflows and processes

What we’re looking for

  • ~3-7+ years of experience in actuarial, analytical, modelling or data-focused roles

  • Experience in actuarial modelling

  • Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and structured approach to analysis

  • Experience working in a project-based environment, including prioritisation and ownership

  • Very good command of English (spoken and written)

  • Actuarial exams (completed or in progress) are a strong advantage

Skills Required
