  • Managing actuarial requirements related to Actuarial Reserves, RBC, and Business Plans, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all operations
  • Work closely with the Actuarial Manager to support local actuarial operations and contribute to the overall success of our actuarial department

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or mathematics or statistics
  • Passed 4-5 actuarial exams
  • Good knowledge of Actuarial science, Finance, and Accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Familiarity with Actuarial Software, particularly AXIS (advantage)
  • Experience in the life insurance industry (advantage)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities (heading) / Responsabilités (titre)

  • Manage and execute actuarial requirements for Actuarial Reserves, RBC, and Business Plans with precision and timeliness.
  • Support the Actuarial Manager in local actuarial operations and special projects.
  • Provide solutions to queries from stakeholders related to actuarial work.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as accounting/finance, pricing actuary, and regional office.
  • Apply problem-solving methods and tools to understand and improve business processes.
  • Deliver innovative solutions leveraging data and technology.
  • Consistently meet goals and coordinate with others to accomplish tasks.
  • Respond efficiently to changing priorities and circumstances.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and contribute to a positive team spirit.
  • Participate actively in discussions about strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Support ad hoc requests and projects as needed.
