The incumbent will gain exposure across a wide range of actuarial disciplines including financial modeling, solvency requirements, valuation and management reporting, insurance/annuity products and fraternal benefits analysis for Canada, the U.S and U.K. He or she will gain experience working with comprehensive financial modelling systems that utilize a variety of actuarial, spreadsheet, database, and reporting software.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the ALM and Risk functions through evaluating strategic/tactical proposals, performing sensitivity analysis, and supporting Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) related activities.
- Improve documentation, model governance, and model risk management for ALM models
- Work closely with other teams such as Corporate Actuarial, Capital Management, Pricing, Risk, Investments, Finance and IT, allowing you to gain valuable work exposure across functions.
- Assist, develop and implement changes in ALM reporting.
- Support the preparation of the annual Appointed Actuary Report.
Key Qualifications
- Undergrad actuarial student writing actuarial exams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, technical skills and fast learner.
- Knowledge of GGY Axis and Excel
- Experience with Hyperion, Power BI and Microstrategy is desirable but not required
