Our captive actuarial practice is looking for an experienced P&C Actuary who will manage the timely and accurate delivery of various types of actuarial analyses to a large portfolio of captive and self-insured clients.

- Joining a team of Actuarial Consultants and Actuarial Analysts, specialized in the delivery of client engagements such as:
- Evaluations of unpaid claims liabilities
- Statements of Actuarial Opinion
- Loss funding and payout projections
- Ratemaking
- Captive feasibility studies
- Retention optimization
- Risk transfer opinions
- Premium allocations
- Commutation valuations
- Parent company self-retained liability analyses
- M&A due diligence
- Cost allocations
- Capital analyses
- Managing actuarial projects from start to finish, including ensuring quality and timeliness of client deliverables, developing budgets and billing reports, acting as senior client contact and preparing/delivering concise communications and results to client.
- Acting as a mentor to junior actuarial staff and overseeing their basic actuarial work.

What you need to have:
- BA/BS degree.
- Actuarial credentials (ACAS or FCAS) required.
- Qualification under US standards to sign P/C Statements of Actuarial Opinion
- Five or more years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
- An expert level of understanding of property & casualty insurance products and actuarial skills.
- Superior analytical and mathematical skills, strong command of Excel.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills.

Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
