Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing actuarial valuations for Defined Benefit and Cash Balance plans in compliance with IRS regulations

  • Support annual nondiscrimination testing for qualified retirement plans, including Cash Balance, Defined Benefit, and 401(k)/Profit Sharing plans

  • Assist with preparation of PBGC filings and required notices

  • Support preparation of annual FASB reports

  • Prepare distribution packages and annual participant statements

  • Assist with preparation and timely filing of government forms, including IRS and DOL Form 5500 and Schedule SB

  • Support preliminary plan design studies and projections to ensure compliance with nondiscrimination requirements

  • Maintain and update plan documents and amendments as directed

  • Assist with plan termination filings with the IRS and PBGC

  • Participate in retirement plan consulting projects as assigned

  • Communicate with internal team members and provide support for client requests

  • Work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
