As an Actuarial Analyst, you will participate in actuarial work as well as projects that touch multiple areas of the company. You will be an important part of initiatives currently undertaken by our reserving team to automate and improve all of our processes. This is an ideal role for someone starting their actuarial career as you will touch on almost all lines of commercial insurance and get hands-on experience in data and reserving processes. This position offers substantial opportunity for professional growth and expanding responsibilities as your experience grows.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in a quantitative concentration (e.g. actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, etc.)
- Some experience in data analysis, actuarial concepts, and computer programming skills (either from employment or an academic setting).
- An interest in coding/automation and learning Excel/programming skills.
- Successful completion of exam P or FM
