Job Description:

Mission: As an Activision and Blizzard Influencer and Creator Manager, you will contribute to the development and execution of Earned and Paid influencer and creator programs. In this role, you will design activities and outreach opportunities that increase Taiwan and Hong Kong player base enjoyment of, and engagement in, our franchise ecosystems, supporting as many as possible into ambassadors for our games.

In a company that serves and engages millions of players across Taiwan and Hong Kong, you will contribute to building the most advanced data-driven and player-centric practices, and to reinventing communication with players by extending their epic entertainment experience with us beyond our games. Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:   

  • Sustain and develop influencer and creator networks, through targeted relationships, advocacy programs, paid campaigns and integration with the Taiwan and Hong Kong press office plans
  • Build and deliver an annual Influencer strategy for your portfolio, aligned to overall Taiwan and Hong Kong Activision and Blizzard business goals
  • Contribute to go-to-market planning with wider Communications, Franchise and Marketing teams to deliver against franchise objectives and targets
  • Manage large-scale paid influencer programs that help grow our player audiences through Core and Variety gaming influencers.
  • Support the Taiwan and Hong Kong Communications Director to develop the overall AB regional influencer strategy
  • Day-to-day liaison with external agency teams as required
  • Liaise with US based team members to represent Taiwan and Hong Kong plans and best interests
  • Monitor program impact and player sentiment to bring insight to internal partners and go-to-market plans
  • Responsible for delivery of regular sentiment reporting to franchise stakeholders and input to PR reporting needs
  • Act as a representative of Activision and Blizzard at influencer and creator events as required
  • Support product launch PR logistics, including launch programs and experiential opportunities
  • Support core press office activities, including media interviews, asset, merchandise and game code distribution

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience in content creator relations management and community management in the video games industry, entertainment or associated agencies.
  • Good understanding of the gaming landscape, players and competitors – and deep familiarity with Activision and Blizzard games
  • Familiarity with a range of social networks/digital platforms (Discord/Facebook/YouTube/Twitch/Instagram/TikTok)
  • Familiarity with influencer tracking and reporting tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Meltwater, or equivalent) to monitor performance, measure ROI, and deliver post-campaign analysis with strategic recommendations.
  • Clear self-starter, detail oriented, and able to work within a dynamic team environment  
  • Ability to deliver high quality work within tight timelines while managing multiple projects
  • Embody a “player first” mentality and behaviors in line with corporate and franchise values
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English; fluency in additional languages is a plus
  • A willingness to travel as required
