Role at a Glance:

Paystand is seeking a highly accountable, execution-driven Activation Manager to serve as the Single Point of Accountability for post-implementation activation, primarily supporting lighthouse and high-impact customers.

This role owns the critical phase between technical go-live and revenue realization, ensuring customers move from Activated to Processing (30% of their Processing Tier) as quickly and predictably as possible.

The Activation Manager does not perform technical implementation but drives the activation process end-to-end—ensuring customer accountability, enforcing internal SLAs, surfacing risks, and preventing stalls between go-live and value realization. This role provides clear visibility into blockers, ownership, and activation risk.

Additionally, the role will help design and operationalize AI-driven tools and workflows to improve activation speed, visibility, and scalability.

The initial focus is Paystand Core, with rapid expansion across the broader Paystand Group, including Bitwage, Teampay, and Yaydoo.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the full activation operating scope across Activation Delivery, Customer & Internal Accountability, Risk Management, Strategic Customer Activation, AI-Driven Scale Enablement, and Customer Success Transition.
  • Own post-go-live activation through 30% Processing Tier attainment as the Single Point of Accountability.
  • Drive structured activation plans, defined next steps, and enforce customer and internal SLAs.
  • Identify and remove blockers, escalate risks early, and maintain visibility into activation health and timelines.
  • Hold merchants and cross-functional teams accountable to commitments and outcomes.
  • Support lighthouse and complex customers, navigating ERP and multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Improve activation velocity through AI-driven workflows, automation, and scalable operating models.
  • Ensure a clean, complete handoff to Customer Success with no unresolved activation issues.
Required Qualifications:
  • ~5 years of experience in activation, implementation, program management, or customer operations within SaaS or Fintech.
  • Proven ability to drive outcomes through influence, structure, and accountability, not authority alone.
  • Experience working directly with customers in post-sale, execution-heavy roles.
  • Strong cross-functional operator comfortable escalating and making hard calls.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using data to assess risk and progress.
  • Familiarity with ERP-based workflows and payments or financial systems is preferred.
  • Based in Mexico (CDMX or Guadalajara). 
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
