Role description:
We are looking for a 7+ years’ experienced talented and enthusiastic individual to join our WPP team as a Planning Director. This is a Full-time position based in Mumbai . This role plays a crucial part in supporting WPP's mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence and diverse businesses.
Responsibility
- Planning expertise: Own end-to-end planning and execution of Prime Video launch campaigns across premium/mass non-biddable digital platforms. Understand audience targeting, frequency management, and cross-channel coordination principles.
Ability to work on documents/notes along with Business/strategy teams.
- Execution Excellence: Manage multiple high-priority APV launches simultaneously with strong attention to detail. Track delivery, pacing, inventory utilization, and campaign health during activity period. Proactively identify risks, resolve execution issues and ensure zero missed launch milestones. Support weekend coordination with partners as APV releases happen during weekends.
- Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with premium non-biddable digital partners and OTT publishers. Drive coordination across multiple vendors simultaneously during high-stake launch periods. Act as the primary activation interface between the client, internal business team, investment team and partners.
- Solution oriented: Ability to make decisions and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
- Innovations & ideas: Contribute activation ideas and platform innovations aligned to shows and audience consumption trends. Drive test-and-learn initiatives across premium digital formats and partner ecosystems.
- AI focussed: Contribute to the adoption of AI-enabled media workflows within the team and streamline repetitive activation processes and reduce TAT.
