ROLE: HEICO's acquisition team is seeking an Acquisitions Associate to work full-time in the Miami Headquarters. This role is an opportunity to work for one of the fastest growing companies, and one of the most prolific acquirers, in Aerospace and Defense. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Research and analyze Aerospace, Defense, and Space sectors.
- Manage cross-functional internal groups and external parties (i.e., target companies and outside advisors) to perform extensive financial and business due diligence on prospective acquisitions.
- Prepare valuation models with sensitivities.
- Review diligence information and prepare analyses to assist the acquisitions team and senior in leadership understanding key deal risks and business trends.
- Assist in preparing detailed proposals and deal memoranda for each transaction.
- Perform critical ad hoc quantitative and qualitative analyses.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field from an accredited college or university required.
EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- Financial modeling experience is a plus.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to formulate and articulate

- Must be able to work efficiently, well within a team environment and/or independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel with tenacity to use available data to quantify critical business characteristics.
- Ability to travel (25% of the time).
- Miami residence or willing to relocate with existing strong ties to Miami.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, will be required to sit frequently, use hands to finger, talk or hear and occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to lift and/move up to 10 lbs.
