Mayvin is seeking an experienced Acquisition Specialist Senior/ SME to support a complex Army radar program office effort in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This role provides direct acquisition and documentation support critical to the lifecycle management of the Army’s ground‑based radar systems, including AN/TPQ‑50, AN/TPQ‑53, and related FMS variants.


This position is contingent upon award.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have an active Secret Clearance.


Responsibilities:

  • Development of Acquisition Requirement Packages and acquisition/contract strategies in alignment with DoDI 5000.02
  • Establish, manage, and risk-assess contracting milestones in coordination with the requiring activity and Army Contracting Command (ACC)
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Program Managers and ACC to ensure clear requirements, compliant documentation, and timely contract execution
  • Develop, maintain, and track Acquisition Program Baselines and key acquisition documentation through the IPT process
  • Create long range acquisition an- program plans that account for budget, schedule, technical constraints, and evolving contracting regulations
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting or (4) additional years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 10 years experience as an acquisition specialist (SR)
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience as an acquisition specialist (SME)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PIEE, DAVE, PMRT, E2 ePRU
