Greenfield Engineering, a Saalex Company is seeking an Acquisition Program Analyst in Lexington Park, MD to support acquisition, financial, and program management activities for Naval Aviation programs. The selected candidate will work closely with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Budget Financial Managers (BFMs), Contracts personnel, and program leadership to support planning, budgeting, requirements management, acquisition execution, and program oversight efforts.

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $80k-$110k (depending upon experience)
Work Location: Onsite.

Essential Functions:

  • Support financial and requirements planning activities across acquisition and RDT&E funding portfolios.
  • Assist with program execution monitoring and requirements tracking across current and future fiscal years.
  • Monitor program requirements and identify potential funding shortfalls, schedule impacts, and execution risks.
  • Maintain and update AMS CSPT inputs and baseline requirements in coordination with IPT Leads and BFMs.
  • Develop and maintain spend plans, financial trackers, and execution reports.
  • Prepare funding requests, de-obligation requests, work completion date extensions, and related documentation.
  • Support development of budget exhibits, financial impact statements, and acquisition documentation.
  • Coordinate requirements planning and resource allocation activities with IPT members and stakeholders.
  • Maintain contract action tracking within AMS PMT and related tools.
  • Assist with PID package development and acquisition workflows.
  • Develop reports, metrics, presentations, and status briefings for program leadership.
  • Support acquisition reviews, budget reviews, meetings, and action item tracking.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Required:

  • Experience supporting government or defense contractor programs.
  • Experience developing or maintaining budgets, financial trackers, program schedules, or execution reports.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting NAVAIR Program Offices, Naval Aviation programs, or PMA organizations.
  • Familiarity with AMS CSPT, PMT, NERP, or similar Navy financial and acquisition systems.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense acquisition processes.
  • Experience supporting spend plan development and budget execution activities.
  • DAU coursework or acquisition-related certifications.

Education/Years of Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Engineering, Acquisition Management, or a related field and a Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition, program management, financial management, budgeting, or related required.

Security Clearance:

Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a Yankee White clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Skills Required
