We are looking for an Acquisition BDC Representative to join our Buying Team! This position is the first point of contact for many of our customers and plays a critical role in creating an exceptional customer experience. Job Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage customer leads through outbound and inbound communication.
  • Answer incoming inquiries regarding vehicle acquisition opportunities and schedule appointments.
  • Follow up with customers who do not initially schedule an appointment.
  • Contact current customers to discuss vehicle acquisition opportunities and set appointments.
  • Utilize CRM and dealership communication tools to effectively manage customer interactions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer records in CRM and related systems.
  • Route calls efficiently to the appropriate departments and team members.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Nelson Difference.
  • Communicate effectively with the Buying Team, Sales Department, and other dealership personnel.
  • Meet individual and team performance goals while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service, call center, BDC, sales, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn CRM software quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused demeanor.
  • High level of integrity, honesty, and accountability.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry office materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain focus and professionalism while managing a high volume of customer interactions.
  • Ability to move between dealership departments as needed.
