Due to the ongoing growth of our business in New Zealand we are looking for a seasoned, outcomes focused Acquisition Account Executive to join our fast growing team.

The Acquisition Account Executive is responsible for winning new business, and building strategic client relationships within the New Zealand Government. Individuals who excel at this job have mastered the art of strategic selling by building strong relationships at CxO level throughout complex organizations. This sales role is viewed as an expert by the company and the field, having broad expertise or unique knowledge of value selling techniques.
AS AN ACQUISITION ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE YOU WILL:Be responsible for and measured on acquiring new customer accounts
Identify opportunities within prospect accounts, running sale cycles from qualification to close, to implementation & identification of future opportunities
Build and develop strategic, deep relationships with your stakeholders
Associate business value to Snowflake solutions
Create and execute strategies that increase stickiness and optimize ROI for customers
Lead a virtual team of technical resources and SME’s to achieve success
Achieve and exceed quarterly revenue targets
Have experience and expertise in MEDDPICC or similar methodology
6+ years of acquisition sales experience with consistent success in meeting or exceeding sales objectives, selling solutions and SaaS into the enterprise market.
A track record of identifying, managing and closing complex deals within New Zealand Government accounts
Proven experience winning large, complex, new logos
Demonstrable experience executing enterprise complex sales strategies and tactics within one of the following spaces: Public Cloud, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science or AI/ML
Superb relationship skills underpinned by superior communication skills
