Summary
Position is responsible for the oversight of all ACH risk related functions including customer onboarding, due diligence reviews, monitoring, education, resolution of ACH violations and renewals of ACH limits. The is an intermediate level position that works directly with centers and customers to assist with more complex areas of ACH. Position will also be responsible for handling ACH claims outside of the standard ACH return time frames.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, Nacha Rules, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
- Maintain time sensitive workflow related to ACH processes for customer onboarding, modifications and renewals.
- Review ACH files originated and received to ensure all have been received and processed through applicable bank systems daily.
- Review and process ACH Risk Worksheets for new and existing customers.
- Research and resolve ACH system alerts and exceptions on a daily basis.
- Research and resolve any “Unknown Companies” as applicable to ensure database is updated appropriately.
- Update and maintain accurate information in department logs and databases.
- Provide support to address customer and associate inquiries/concerns related to ACH Risk and processing functions including ACH rules, claims, out of time frame returns, reversals, notification of change (NOC), alerts and renewals.
- Work with customers to address basic NACHA rule violations in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Provide basic education to customers on NACHA rule requirements as needed.
- Provide documentation for certifications, reporting and audits.
- Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to three years related ACH experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic and intermediate ACH training, with an emphasis on ACH origination and risk, is required.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Navigator, Director Database software; Microsoft Office, Q2 Central Fedline Advantage and EDI

Salary Range:$20.00 To $26.25 Hourly

Skills Required
