Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, serving as the central point of coordination for office-based activities across the plant, facilitating smooth communication between departments.
- Assist the Plant Manager in budget management, plant hire equipment tracking, and inventory balance reporting to support effective financial oversight.
- Oversee staff timesheet submissions into the payroll system, manage relationships with labor hire agencies, and handle payroll approvals and invoice reconciliations to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Manage the plant’s purchasing needs, including materials, resources, PPE, and equipment, ensuring all procurement activities comply with national purchasing standards and corporate policies.
- Supervise the maintenance of site accreditations and ensure the plant's compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, driving continuous improvement in safety standards.
- Act as the administrator for safety and environmental systems, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company safety standards to maintain a zero-harm environment.
- Coordinate third-party facility management and vendor relationships to ensure the effective functioning of external service providers and smooth day-to-day plant operations.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive financial, personnel, and business information, maintaining high standards of data protection.
