The Role:
DailyPay is looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our Accounting team. The AR Accountant will use their analytical skills to process and reconcile financial data, as well as ensure all activity has been recorded in our systems of record. The AR Accountant will also have the opportunity to enhance our existing day to day processes and help design new processes that leverage technology to drive efficiency.
The Accounts Receivable Accountant role is located in New York City and will report to the Senior Accountant.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • End to end review and processing of customer invoices and payments in the company's Accounting system, bank portals, and DailyPay's internal system for a variety of products and services
  • Work with clients and internal departments on collections of aged invoices along with escalating any issues to the Senior Accountant
  • Management of internal Accounts Receivable inbox dedicated for client-facing and internal questions and issues
  • Preparation of reconciliations and investigation of variances
  • Creation of journal entries in the Accounting system and credit memos
  • Preparation of internal reports and KPI's used by management
  • Assisting in automating our current invoicing and cash application processes


What You Bring to The Team:

  • 2+ years of prior professional Accounts Receivable experience in private industry and/or public accounting
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Natural problem solver
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with strong time-management skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to multitask

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proficiency with Google Suite
  • Proficiency with NetSuite ERP

Pay Transparency. DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
