We are looking for someone that is resourceful, inquisitive, self-motivated, possess strong interpersonal skills and capable of handling high work volumes with accuracy. As a key member of the Collections team, you will be reporting to the Senior Accounts Receivable Manager. In this role, you will build relationships with our fellow team members in AR, Clients, Account Managers and Consultants to ensure timely payments and collection of accounts receivable.
Primary Responsibilities (will include, but are not limited to):
- Proactively manage Collections for Tier 1 Clients
- Customer focused: Establish and maintain effective, cooperative, and professional, courteous working relationships with internal and external Customers
- Responsible for managing risk assessment for Client portfolio with established policies and procedures, including timely and periodic reporting to management with account updates and action recommendations.
- Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and documenting status on all past due accounts. Includes documenting details of methods utilized to secure payment
- Identify process improvement and efficiencies
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting/Business Administration. CPA/CMA Candidate an asset
- Commitment to privacy and ethical conduct with a strong ability to ensure all Company polices and control procedures are met
- Good organization, time management skills, ability to assess/focus on priorities
- 3-5 years’ experience in collections is an asset
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of ERP System WorkDay an asset
- Lean Six Sigma an asset
