The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for all accounts receivable related aspects of their assigned duties, and serves as a liaison been the operations teams, our vendors, and the accounting department..Job Responsibilities

• Apply cash receipts to accounts as directed.
• Follow-up and resolve any payment discrepancies.
• Research un-reconciled orders and documents findings.
• Prepare and upload data to correct reconciled orders.
• Compile reports for Market Partners and Business contacts with orders that need additional or outside verification to be corrected (or authorization to be written off).
• Prepare and upload data from a daily report of canceled orders that reverse auto-booked items (such as shipping, tax, and discounts).
• Maintain assigned account files.
• Prepare AR aging report for leadership.
• Update Dashboards that track aging activity and outstanding exception amounts.
• Prepare and post Journal Entries and complete account reconciliations for period activity of any departments that are supported during month-end close.
• Invoice customers for period activity.

Job Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel​
• 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting field in a corporate setting

• Effectively prioritize
• Ability to apply logical thinking
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in reporting requirements
• Experience in AR in lieu of an Associate’s degree or higher in Business or Accounting required

Base Pay Range$37,925-45,000

Physical Requirements:

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
