The Role

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will have the opportunity to be a part of our growth while contributing to a fun and energetic company culture. The position will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient accounts receivable operations. Other responsibilities include applying payments, researching payment issues, answering incoming calls, providing invoices to customers, working with sales, and use of Salesforce in daily activities. A successful individual will be self-motivated-someone who can recognize how processes can improve and effectively implement positive changes. The candidate must also be able to build strong cross-functional relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
What you'll do...

  • The duties of an Accounts Receivable Specialist include cash application, Customer account reconciliation/AR reconciliations, investigating and resolving customer inquiries and irregularities, managing accurate AR aging report, communication and reporting on delinquent/at risk accounts.
  • Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due
  • Provide customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining SaaSOptics AR cadence emails
  • Enlist the efforts of the CSM team and management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
  • Identifying potential credits and processing credit requests when necessary
  • Monitoring, tracking, and enforcing AR department policies and procedures, identifying inefficiencies, proposing and documenting new concepts and procedures.
  • Manage customer and compliance portals
  • Keep accurate and detailed customer collection notes in system of record
  • Manage tax exemption certificates for resellers/customers
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and projects as needed


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years in a role with a similar scope
  • Experience with Netsuite and Salesforce
  • Strong ethics and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive data
  • Experience working effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extensive technical knowledge
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Highly proficient in Excel

  • Salary Disclosure for Colorado: annual salary of $55,000 - $65,000. Final offer amount is determined by factors including years and depth of candidate's experience, certifications, and skill set alignment to the job requirements
