Role and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for treasury management compliance of deposit handling and reporting, banking practices and sales reporting for 500+ corporate owned restaurants. Qualified individuals will become thoroughly versed in the company sales reporting, cash handling and banking procedures to ensure that cash and banking compliance is maintained.
· Builds and works with very detailed complex cash and sales reconciliations.
· Completes daily data downloads of sales and banking information. Prepares raw data into usable information.
· Maintains and tracks daily store sales by legal tender.
· Identifies in-transit items and variances by location and banking partner.
· Manages in-transit items and variances by identifying reasons and resolutions.
· Communicates with colleagues and upper management any cash handling violations and variances.
· Researches and submits requested information to banking partners and credit card processor.
· Prepares in-depth monthly reconciliations of corporate sales and banking transactions.
· Prepare monthly adjustments with detailed explanations.
· Prepares accounting entries for review and posting.
· Identify process efficiencies and suggest improvements.
· General administrative support to Accounts Receivable Manager and Supervisor.
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Position requires effective verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other modules of Microsoft Office. Strong reconciliation skills. Ability to analyze information. Must be detail oriented and highly organized. Must be able to work independently.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Related Subject or equivalent job experience.
