Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Associate with fluency in both English and German to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a commitment to accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable Management:
- Monitor customer accounts and track outstanding payments.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and address customer inquiries related to billing.
- Prepare and distribute customer statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records.
- Cash Collection:
- Proactively contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to pursue outstanding payments.
- Negotiate payment plans and resolve billing disputes in a professional and efficient manner.
- Escalate delinquent accounts to appropriate internal stakeholders according to established procedures.
- Reconciliations AP/AR accounts and monthly AR supplementals
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers while ensuring timely payment.
- Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries related to invoices and payments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable or a related field.
- Fluency in both English and German (written and spoken).
- Good understanding of accounts receivable principles and practices.
- Good computer skills in Google and MS Office packages
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer oriented and problem solving attitude
