Accounts Receivable Assistant – Hybrid Duties, Reuters Operations and Strategy
This position will combine the standard duties of a Reuters Events AR Assistant role (with specific responsibility for Insurer Events billing which requires working in dual systems and liaising between Agency/Events colleagues), with the duties of a Business Operations Analyst in Agency.
About the Role
In this opportunity as an Accounts Receivable Assistant – Hybrid Duties, your responsibilities will include:
Overall Responsibilities:
- Invoice creation for Sponsors and Exhibitors for Insurer events, initially raising them in RE Salesforce (shadow entity) before raising them in Agency Salesforce + Zuora
- Understanding tax implications depending on customer/event location; establishing the correct entity to raise invoice from.
- Completing vendor forms and collating backing data for multiple entities (W8 forms for different countries, CORs, proof of company registration, proof of TAX ID, etc), loading to customer portals if needed.
- Creating a report in Zuora to run daily to see if funds have been paid and entered by the central Cash Teams, entering dummy cash entries in Reuters Events Salesforce if so.
Reuters Events:
- Cash posting - accessing bank accounts to reconcile cash received with outstanding invoices, creating cash entries, matching records in Salesforce
- Invoice creation for Sponsors and Exhibitors
- Acting as Senior or Junior on Insurer events, having the responsibility of chasing and getting payments in so event goes out unpaid.
- Answering emails in shared AR mailbox pertinent to the Insurer (including answering delegate enquiries, verifying bank details OTP, completing vendor forms, loading invoices to customer portals, re-invoicing, issuing future credits).
Reuters Agency:
- Global Billing, corrections, learning Zuora, account reconciliations
- Work closely with all Order-to-Cash teams
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Accounts Receivable Assistant – Hybrid Duties if you have / are:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Candidates must be willing to work at Mckinley Hill Taguig – HYBRID SET Up (2 days in the office and 3 days at home)
- Must be willing to work in the mid shift (UK hours)
- Firm understanding and grasp of tax implications for both RE and Agency invoicing
- Training replacement head in Reuters Events
