Meyer Utility Structures is searching for an Accounts Receivable Analyst who will serve as an integral part of the finance team in our Memphis, TN office. This is a key position responsible for processing invoices to the customer and supporting related reporting and review. The successful Accounts Receivable Analyst will be team oriented and have outstanding attention to detail.
Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications. With over sixty years of innovative engineering and manufacturing expertise, Meyer has helped to author and validate many of today’s transmission industry standards and specifications.
What You’ll Do:
- Process and submit invoices to customers
- Review customer purchase orders to validate invoice accuracy
- Perform freight verifications to support invoicing
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Maintain credit memo documentation and records
- Conduct weekly and monthly backlog reconciliations
- Support month-end close reporting and journal entries
- Ensure compliance with company policy and standard work procedures
- Assist with special projects as needed
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience and at least 3 years prior relevant experience
- Experience with invoicing, accounts receivable required
- Outstanding attention to detail with strong communication skills
- Expertise with MS Excel and experience with ERP systems (Oracle, IFS, JEE, SAP, etc.)
