Are you detail-oriented, organized, and energized by work that keeps the business moving? Belle Tire is looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our Finance team and play a key role in accurately applying customer payments, reconciling daily activity, and resolving payment discrepancies in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. In this role, you'll partner with internal teams, stores, and customers to ensure payment information is complete, accurate, and processed on time.

 

What You'll Do

  • Post customer payments daily, including cash, checks, ACH, and credit card transactions
  • Accurately apply payments to customer accounts and invoices
  • Reconcile daily deposits, bank activity, and cash postings to ensure accuracy
  • Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, overpayments, and payment discrepancies
  • Communicate with internal teams, stores, and customers to obtain missing remittance information
  • Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities as needed
  • Identify and escalate posting issues, system discrepancies, or unusual payment activity
  • Process adjustments related to payment application, as needed
  • Other related duties as assigned

 

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2 years of Accounts Receivable or cash application experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Experience working in a retail-based company

 

 

Work Environment

Work hours are typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed. This position is based in an office environment requiring periods of sitting and the operation of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and other office tools.
