The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the data entry and processing of accounts payable information. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, have accurate data entry and proofreading skills (7,000 to 11,000 kph preferred), and previous Accounts Payable experience is preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Six months to one year of accounting experience

Travel: None

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Overtime may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processes Accounts Payable check runs in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Acts as general liaison between internal and external customers to assist in the resolution of account payable issues.
  • Enters and maintains all invoices for assigned vendors.
  • Reconciles monthly statements for assigned vendors.
  • Processes voided checks in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
