Accounting Specialist

Nisbet Brower is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. This position plays an important role in supporting our financial operations by ensuring accurate accounting records, timely processing of transactions, and reliable financial information to support business decisions.

What You’ll Do:
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently
- Manage accounts payable processing, including vendor invoice verification and payments
- Support accounts receivable activities, including payment tracking, collections, and account reconciliation
- Perform bank, credit card, and transaction reconciliations
- Assist with monthly financial reporting, statements, and financial analysis
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Partner with internal teams to resolve billing and accounting questions
- Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and other financial review activities
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
- Other duties as required
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of accounting, billing, or financial operations experience preferred
- Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, or billing processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and solve problems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
- Experience with Epicor and/or Great Plains is a plus
- Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team
