Job Description:
AP Operational Manager. - The primary goal of this role is to enable operational effectiveness through partnering with stakeholders and deliver strategic processes that enable consistent, efficient, and standard service delivery in alignment with Mars Five Principles. This role is responsible to ensure Accounts Payable functional performance, measuring and improving the process. This role serves as a business partner and copilot responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders of Accounts Payable (upstream & downstream functional teams, business unit, 3rd party partners, etc.).

What will be your key responsibilities?
Business Partner driving Operational Effectiveness
Provide guidance to business partner organization, monitors & drives performance as well as collaborating on initiatives that drive overall health of AP processes, with specific focus on invoice-to-pay, disbursements and exception handling.
Direct the reporting and analytics team members to design operational metrics and dashboards; oversee scorecard results and work with key leaders to ensure business results stay on track.
Ensure team is partnering with local stakeholders to drive improvements, reduce aged balances, and deliver insights
Delivers Results through Offshore Team
Delivers results through offshore team members while not having a direct reporting relationship.
Owns on-going coaching to drive awareness of the Mars culture (Five Principles) and leadership competencies required to be successful within the global shared service organization
Continuous Improvement
Continuously upskills to align with the S&F Capability Framework
Lead standardization and documentation efforts across supported processes.
Controls & Governance
Drive FinOps to sustainable compliance by assessing the effectiveness of internal processes, controls and risks
Provide control insight and framework to address execution issues and gaps in existing control environment
