The Role

Love keeping things organised, making numbers balance and ensuring everything runs like clockwork? Honey Birdette is looking for an organised and detail-loving Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team. Whether your background is in accounts payable, office management or administration, if you are switched on, have exceptional attention to detail and know your way around an Excel spreadsheet, we would love to hear from you. You will play an important role in keeping our day-to-day finance operations running smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity to build your finance experience while working behind the scenes of a bold, fun and fast-growing luxury retail lingerie brand.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Processing a medium to high volume of invoices, purchase orders and expense claims accurately and efficiently

• Preparing and reconciling supplier accounts, corporate credit cards and bank transactions

• Ensuring costs are accurately allocated across general ledger accounts and cost centres

• Coordinating weekly and ad hoc payment runs, including uploading payments to banking platforms

• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures and GST/VAT classifications

• Responding to finance-related queries and building positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams

• Supporting the Finance team with administration and helping to keep processes organised and on track

• Looking for opportunities to improve processes and make the way we work even more efficient

• You have experience in accounts payable, office management, administration or a similar role, but attitude and aptitude are just as important to us

• You have exceptional attention to detail and take pride in getting the numbers and the little things right

• You are highly organised, know how to prioritise and can confidently juggle competing deadlines without losing your cool

• You are quick to adapt and happy to switch gears when priorities change because no two days at Honey Birdette are ever the same

• You know your way around Microsoft Excel and feel comfortable working with financial or administrative systems

• You bring a proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach to your work

• You are a confident communicator who can build positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders across the business

• You are collaborative, positive and always willing to jump in and support the team

• You are based in Sydney and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid working environment
