Ag Processing Inc is hiring for an Accounts Payable Associate to work at our corporate office in Omaha. This person will be responsible for processing invoices and ensuring that payments are made correctly and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Process assigned location invoices and match invoices to purchase orders
Verify accuracy of invoices, coding, and appropriate approval prior to payment
Communicate with vendors and purchasing agents to resolve accounts payable issues
Comply with sales and use tax guidelines of multiple states
Ensure payments are made in accordance with company policy
Enter data into accounting systems and/or other accounting files
Process/prepare documents.
Review and check various reports or other information sources.
Communicate with management, co-workers, customers, and outside business contacts.
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Accounts payable/ accounting experience, preferred
Agricultural or manufacturing knowledge, preferred
Experience with OnBase and/ or Oracle is a plus

Ag Processing Inc a cooperative (AGP®) is a farmer-owned cooperative engaged in the procurement, processing, marketing, and transportation of grains and grain products.
Since its formation in 1983, AGP has been committed to the success of its owners. Today, that is over 150 member cooperatives representing over 200,000 farmers throughout the United States.
AGP operates ten soybean processing plants including six plants in Iowa, located at Eagle Grove, Emmetsburg, Manning, Mason City, Sergeant Bluff, and Sheldon. Other AGP processing plants are located at Dawson, Minnesota, St. Joseph, Missouri, Hastings, Nebraska, and Aberdeen, South Dakota.
