Requirements
The Accounts Payable Associate will perform day-to-day accounting duties with a high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. This position allows for a flexible schedule (Monday through Friday), but does not support remote work. Local candidates only, please.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Multi-location reporting
- Enter invoices and vendor statements
- Pay invoices in accordance with credit terms
- Correspond appropriately and as needed with vendors
- Reconcile vendor accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Support month-end closing procedures
- File documents in an accurate and timely manner
- Assist in other areas as needed
Qualifications
- Advanced skills in MS Office and Google Apps
- Knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting and GAAP concepts
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete assignments within deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
- A desire to broaden skills and knowledge
Skills Required
