ACCOUNTS PAYABLE / ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST

Automotive Dealership | Rosenberg, TX

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and experienced in automotive dealership accounting.

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY.
Previous automotive dealership accounting experience and CDK experience are REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Prepare invoice deduction notices as necessary
• Answer and resolve vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare and process accounts payable checks
• Print and maintain all accounts payable reports and files
• Prepare account analysis and reconciliations as required
• Assist with monthly closing procedures
• Assist with accounts receivable functions
• Assist with special accounting projects as needed
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records
• Communicate with vendors, management, and other dealership departments as necessary
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

  Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable experience
• Previous automotive dealership accounting experience REQUIRED
• CDK experience REQUIRED
• Strong understanding of dealership accounting processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Strong computer and calculator skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally

We need someone who can hit the ground running and understand the pace and demands of an automotive dealership accounting office. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with vendors, invoices, payments, reconciliations, accounts receivable, and month-end processes while maintaining accuracy and organization.
