Title - Accounts Payable Analyst
The Role
Come join our growing Group Finance team in our Mumbai office! Reporting to the Assistant Manager - Accounts Payable based in Mumbai, this role will support the YouGov group in paying our suppliers on time and making it easier for our team to efficiently procure.
What will I be delivering?
- Match supplier invoices to the relevant PO and ensure that the goods/services have been received before they are paid.
- Preparing weekly payment runs (multiple currencies)
- Invoice query resolution
- When processing purchases on behalf of another group entity to input the matching intercompany transactions
- Creditor ledger reviews
- Suggest ways to improve controls and processes.
- Supporting internal and external audits
Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge and experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accounts payable domain.
- Attention to detail to ensure payments are made accurately.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong service orientation/responsiveness.
- Good Excel skills.
- Experience working in a finance shared service team. (Preferred)
- Dealing with audit questions (Preferred)
- Using Six Sigma to improve financial processes (Preferred)
- Experience in presenting data analytically (e.g. through Power BI). (Preferred)
- Previous experience of using NetSuite (Preferred)
Technical skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related disciplines preferable
