Why This Role Matters
We are seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage complex invoice processing, payments, and open item resolution in full compliance with company policies. The role involves close collaboration with the AP team, vendors, and auditors, while also supporting inquiries and escalations. You will have the chance to drive process improvements and contribute to key operational initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Take ownership and resolve complex invoice processing and matching, approval and coding requests, and payment processing, in compliance with SOPs, and keep process documentation up to date.
Collaborate with the team to manage open items, including credit note write-offs, clearing processes, and follow-up on resolution for all assigned accounts
Review and monitor Accounts Payable compliance with company policies and controls to ensure timely and accurate payments
Support AP Helpdesk inquiries and assist Invoice Specialists with issue resolution and escalations.
Provide assistance to the Vendor Master Team for vendor creation or changes
Support audit requirements for internal and external auditors within agreed timelines and formats
Identify and support process improvements, policies, and controls; contribute to system and workflow enhancements; and lead or support AP operational initiatives.
What You'll Bring
Minimum 1 year of experience in end-to-end Accounts Payable processes with high-volume transactions in a BPO/Shared Services environment
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience with SAP/ERP payables systems and proficiency in computer applications, including intermediate Excel.
Strong Accounts Payable expertise with process automation, reconciliations, settlements, and AP-related financial analysis
Excellent English and German communication skills (verbal and written)
Effectively manages multiple priorities and consistently delivers work with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for issue resolution and policy enforcement; comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels.
