Full Time 40 Hours onsite in Auburn, MA

The Accounts Payable/Accounting Assistant will provide support to the Accounting & Finance department staff, actively contributing to the Accounts Payable processes, with opportunities to learn more about payroll and other accounting activities.

As an Accounts Payable/Accounting Assistant:

  • Enter invoices in AP module.
  • Maintain records and vendor files.
  • Review and process expense reimbursements.
  • Record expenses appropriately by coding invoices accurately and timely
  • Help prepare YE tax documents 1099s – and their distribution.
  • Participate in intradepartmental cross-training schedule to ensure proper and competent coverage for payroll, AP and other accounting functions.
  • Strong analytical skills, solid organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. A highly disciplined approach to executing job responsibilities.

The Accounts Payable/Accounting Assistant will have the following:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a professional office environment required.
  • Great Plains /GP Dynamics experience is preferred.
  • Doclinks or Beanwork type software experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office (experience with Excel spreadsheets, data entry and data analysis techniques) required.

Pay Range

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience.

$24.00 - $29.00
