Position: Accounts Officer
Location: Waluj, MIDC
Department: Accounts & Finance
Reporting To: Managing Director
Maintain accurate books of accounts including ledgers, journals, vouchers, and entries in Tally or accounting software
Handle day-to-day accounting operations: purchase booking, sales invoicing, expense tracking, and petty cash
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including vendor and customer reconciliation
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, PT, and coordinate for income tax compliance
Ensure timely bank reconciliations and oversee payments/receipts
Assist in monthly closing, MIS reports, and balance sheet finalization support
Liaison with auditors, CA, tax consultants, and government departments
Maintain and verify asset register, stock audits, and internal controls
Support in budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with Company Act, statutory records, and documentation
RequirementsJob Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (B.Com / M.Com)
Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on experience in an accounts role
Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and accounting tools
Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards
Strong analytical and numerical ability
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Integrity and confidentiality in financial handling
Ability to work under deadlines and multitask
Proactive communicator with team and management
Prior experience in manufacturing company is preferred
Familiarity with ERP is a plus
Knowledge of export documentation & accounting (optional but added advantage)
