Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Assistant to support Supersonic Studios through a remarkable period of growth. You will keep the day-to-day books accurate and up to date - processing transactions, reconciling accounts and making sure every entry lands in the right place, on time.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership of the ledger. You will be the person who keeps the financial records clean, supports the monthly close and makes the process a little smoother each cycle.

Day-to-Day Bookkeeping

• Maintain the general ledger, posting journals, accruals and prepayments accurately and on schedule.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable end to end - invoices, supplier payments, customer receipts and credit notes.
• Perform bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and clearing differences promptly.
• Support the monthly close by preparing schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation for the finance team.

Compliance & Local Requirements

• Keep accurate, well-organised records and audit trails across the ledger.
• Prepare and submit routine filings for the Israeli entity, working alongside external accountants and advisors (VAT, withholding tax and related returns).
• Provide supporting documentation and schedules for the annual audit.
• Process payroll accounting entries and employee expense claims, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Systems & Ways of Working

• Use accounting systems and tools to keep bookkeeping accurate, timely and efficient.
• Suggest and help implement improvements to day-to-day finance processes.
• Support data accuracy across finance and commercial systems.

• Proven track record of maintaining a full set of books in a busy finance function.
• Solid working knowledge of AP, AR, bank reconciliations and VAT reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working in accounting software.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent Hebrew for day-to-day work with local advisors, payroll and authorities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach to deadlines.

Good to Have

• Experience in gamedev, mobile apps, SaaS or another technology business.
• Experience with tools such as NetSuite, Xero, or Hashavshevet.
• Experience working in a multi-entity, multi-currency international group.
• Exposure to automating routine finance workflows.
