What Will You Do
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
Oversee GL, AP, and Intercompany (IC) activities, including booking, payments, and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with group policies
Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed on time and drive the timely resolution of open items
Coordinate and support statutory audits and tax filings across international entities, including IFRS to Local GAAP bridging
Own and manage intercompany processes, ensuring alignment across entities and resolving discrepancies efficiently
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., controlling, tax, treasury) to ensure smooth financial operations and alignment on accounting topics
Drive continuous improvements, standardization, and automation of accounting processes and internal controls
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, providing guidance on day-to-day activities and fostering accountability
What Will You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus
6–8 years of accounting experience with strong exposure to GL, AP, and intercompany processes
2–3 years of experience leading or mentoring a team
Working experience with HGB is highly preferred, IFRS is nice to have
Experience with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) and strong Excel skills
Full professional proficiency in English and German (both written and spoken)
Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive working style
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and focus on process improvement and automation
