The PositionAs the Global Business Process Specialist (GBPS) – Accounting Tax Integration, you are part of the Global Business Process Management Organization in Roche Service & Solutions. In this position, you report into the Accounting Tax Integration Sub-Chapter Lead within the Finance BPM.
You act as Business Process Specialist for the APAC Regional Deployment team in the Finance/ Tax area. You roll-out the Aspire Global Template to the APAC countries, in particular for Chugai company codes in the area of Taxes, including Tax Localization.
You will work in close collaboration with stakeholders from Finance, Commercials, Demand-to-Pay, Supply Chain and IT, cross divisionally (Pharma and Diagnostics).
You will be :
Responsible for global, cross divisional state-of-the-art process design within their business process area within the E2E proces. Empowered decision making for their area across divisions and in line with the E2E Business Process Management guardrails from the Global Business Process Manager (GBPM)
Work closely with the E2E GBPMs & GBPS network to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions. Supports the SAP S4/HANA Template deployment. Actively pursue the implementation of the E2E BPM strategy, according to guardrails set by the E2E GBPO and GBPMs
Deliver solutions including processes, ICFR, Authorizations, laws and regulations, technology, analytics for own dedicated area, in line with the E2E BPM strategy & guardrails as well as continuous improvements, with support of the GBPM and GBPSs. Support business acceptance globally across divisions and functions on a operating level for the dedicated business process area. Drive and implement the BPM strategy for your own dedicated area
Roll-out Global template solutions for the area of Finance/ Tax, including solution documentation & implementation, test management, business process operations including integrated training management. Evaluate Local GAP and design localization extensions for the Global Template as part of the deployment activities for the Aspire roll out.
Safeguard the global template and harmonized processes while collaborating with different project streams and other BPM networks to develop new processes for future releases.You translate local Tax business requirements into IT solutions and manage changes to such specifications. Actively drive and support the project deployment relevant deliverables throughout the full rollout lifecycle.
Ensuring that all parallel deployments as well as the S/4Hana work package are on trackEnsuring, monitoring and optimization of business processes with regards to efficiency and effectiveness. The position may involve a fair amount of travel (up to max. 25%). You liaise with the other stakeholder within the E2E processes. You lead process alignments/solution design with business stakeholders under template governance
A business or finance degree with 4-5 years of relevant work experience. An SAP FI specialist with solid experience in business process management, SAP ERP, S/4Hana, IT, and ERP transformation programs.
Extensive experience with SAP Tax solutions, covering Indirect Taxes, Withholding Taxes, and Corporate Income Taxes. Deep knowledge of SAP S/4Hana tax solutions, including SAP country versions, SAP Document and Reporting Compliance, and implementation of SAP systems, particularly S4 Finance.
Experience with other SAP Tax solutions like Sovos add-on for tax code determination is advantageous.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a history of leading change initiatives and effective decision-making.
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in complex global networks.
