SUMMARY
The Accounting Support Specialist will play a critical role in onboarding and supporting the newly hired Accountant by facilitating a structured knowledge transfer over a maximum of 12 months. This position focuses exclusively on advisory, transition support, and sharing historical insights.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive onboarding support to the new Accountant, including:
Handover of historical documents, systems, and processes.
Sharing contextual insights and best practices developed
Guide the new Accountant through a full business cycle to cover all critical deadlines.
Act as an advisor for technical and procedural questions during the transition period.
Support knowledge transfer in areas such as:
Certification processes
Salary payments
Oracle system navigation
Leasing procedures
Vendor payments
Invoice verification (including Swedish clients)
To always respect and protect company and client confidentiality.
Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll, vendor management, and ERP systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and organizational information.
Ability to structure and prioritize knowledge transfer activities over a defined timeline.
Capability to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
