Accounting Support Specialist

Job Summary & Responsibilities

The Financial Accountant will be driving the day-to-day Accounting (mainly AR) and month-end close activities. In addition the roles will be providing support in the overall statutory compliance work accros Europe

Qualifications

• GL Accounting
  • Month-end close;;
  • Setting up and maintaining supporting documentation (BS accounts reconciliation,
  • Balance sheets ownership of assigned companies in Europe
• AR
  • Ensure that invoices are correctly and timely posted in accounting and sent to customers
  • Follow up on the collection of AR
  • Working with CS&L team to resolve queries from customers related to open invoices
• Treasury
  • Preparing the weekly payments
  • Preparing the weekly bank account reconciliation
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly cash forecast
• Reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of management reporting to support the regional business and management
  • Assist in quarterly reporting to US head office
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements
  • Coordinate all statutory reporting in the different countries in the region with our local administrators
• Payroll
  • Coordinate the monthly payroll inputs and outputs with external payroll providers;
  • Prepare payroll entries
