Flynn’s Tire is looking for a dependable, honest, enthusiastic, respectful, and team-oriented Accounting Support Specialist to join our growing Corporate Office team.
The Accounting Support Specialist manages daily financial transactions, processes accounts payable and receivable, and reconciles accounts to help the finance team maintain accurate records. This role assists the finance department with clerical and core accounting tasks, ensuring that financial data is precise, invoices are paid or collected on time, and day-to-day operations run smoothly.

What You Will Do
As an Accounting Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Accounts Payable (AP): Review, code, and process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, and manage weekly check runs.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate customer billing, post incoming payments (ACH, checks, wire transfers), and track open balances.
- Reconciliations: Perform daily cash postings and reconcile bank statements or vendor accounts.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Research and resolve billing, payment, or vendor statement issues.
- Administrative Support: Assist with month-end closing activities, maintain physical and digital records, and help prepare for audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of general bookkeeping, AP/AR, or administrative accounting support experience.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting platforms (Dynamics GP accounting platform knowledge a plus).
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, good time management, and clear verbal and written communication.

Skills Required
